Robert F. Baldus Jr., age 56, passed away on Tuesday November 5, 2018. Robert was born in Camden, NJ and resided in Fayetteville, NC.
Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love of his family and friends helped him through the grueling Chemo and Radiation.
Bob fought hard everyday with a smile on his face, hugs for those he saw at the cancer center going through the same pain he was, he lived his life to the fullest. Bob's passion was being a Coach to his Carolina Change-Ups Travel Softball team, he loved to encourage the girls to be their best selves, practice hard and have fun! Bob loved spending time with his loved ones fishing and kayaking, he was a die-hard Los Angeles Raiders Fan, on game day he would be dressed from head to toe, snacks ready with a glass of sweet tea ready for the win!
We will miss those times with Bob, he was our blessing, he came into our lives when God knew we needed him just as he needed us! No matter what anyone was going through, Bob was here to love us, encourage us or just give us a hug with no words needed.
He was survived by his 3 beautiful daughters: Nicole Gioia, Erica Gioia and Katie Baldus, Grandchildren: Jazlynn, Kayden, Angelissa and Aleah, Sisters: Lori Voynow, Denise Baldus, Nephews and nieces; James, Jennifer, Victoria, and Nicolette, Aunt Karen, Aunt Joan, Uncle Dave, Uncle Butch and several cousins. His second family: Danielle Inman, William Lanterman, Allyson Balliew Nicole Balliew, Ellie Bell, and Dominique McGuire. Bob you will be missed by many, touching our hearts in ways we will never forget! We Love you Baldus!
