Robert Woodrow Taylor, Jr. 47, passed away September 17, 2021 at Moore County Regional Hospital. He was born March 13, 1974, in Robeson County to the late Robert Woodrow, Sr and Gladys Nance.
He was a 1992 graduate of St. Pauls High School and a 1996 graduate of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He was employed as a manager at Smithfield Grainery.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Woodrow and Gladys Taylor of St. Pauls. He is survived by his wife, Lindy, of the home; his brother, Mickey Taylor and his wife, Mara, of Wade; his sister, Shreita Taylor Powers, and her husband, David, of Raleigh; Mother-in-law, Marie Taylor, and her husband, Tom of St. Pauls; Father-in-law, David Harris of Rex; Sisters-in-law; Stephanie Walters, and her husband, Gene of St. Pauls, and Tara Fisher and her husband, Ryan of Raleigh; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being on his boat or in the woods. He was also an excellent cook and spent a lot of time preparing family meals.
