Robin White

Robin Wayne White, 57, of St. Pauls passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Born September 14, 1963, to Zelma Cashwell White and the late Ollin White. Robin was a Champion Tennis player during high school and graduated from St. Pauls High School in 1981. He cherished his friends and family, especially his Mother. He was determined, hardworking, and a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He spent 30 years in the telecommunications/electronic field and spent 25 of those years as a state employee. Robin was saved at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church and baptized in 2019.

Preceded in death by his father, Ollin White; Robin is survived by his mother, Zelma White of St. Pauls, NC; sisters, Patricia Blackwell (JW); Gwendolyn Williams (Austin); Donna Royal (Milton); Jennifer Reneau (Timmy); brother, Jimmy White (Adali); 4 nephews; Chris Rogers, Austin Reneau, Justin White, and Gil Ruiz; niece; Veronica Fernandez.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 11:00 am, at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church in St. Pauls, NC with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon, also at the church with Rev. David Hodge officiating. The family was cared for by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, NC.

Robin White’s Testimony

Over the past few weeks I’ve been extremely sick.  My body has been shaking, I couldn’t eat, I’ve been throwing up and not sleeping.  I have lost 15 pounds.  Every night I would cry out to God to help me or take me home.  I was ready to go.  Nothing seemed to be happening.

My primary care doctor changed my medications and I got somewhat better. This past Tuesday I went to my heart doctor.  To my surprise he said I was doing good and my blood pressure was low.  He took me off of my blood pressure pills and said I didn’t need them anymore.  He also said I didn’t have congestive heart failure anymore.

I expected my doctor to put me in the hospital but God answered my prayer in his time and in his way.  I feel much better now.  I want to give all the praise to God.
