Ronald Barnhill

Ronald Johnny Barnhill, 70, of St. Pauls, died Friday August 2, 2013 at Highland Acres Nursing Center in Lumberton. He was born in Scotland County March 2, 1943 to the late James Andrew and Launa Cole Barnhill. A US Army Veteran, he served in Viet Nam, receiving the Viet Nam Campaign Medal w/Dev 60 and the Viet Nam Service Medal. He is survived by his wife, Margie Kay Barnhill; sister, Edna B. Kokochak; brothers, Donald T. Barnhill and his wife Jane, Joseph M. Barnhill, Sr. and his wife Joann and Harold Ray Barnhill and his wife Barbara; 3 stepchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday 8/5/2013 at 11 AM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls, with the Reverends Aubrey Swett and David Canady officiating. Burial will follow in Ten Mile Center Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 8/4/2013 from 6-8 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home.
