Vernie Randall "Randy" Wiggins

It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of Vernie Randall (Randy) Wiggins on February 3, 2025 with his devoted wife Daralee by his side. 

 Randy was born December 14, 1954 in Laurinburg, North Carolina to Bradford and Ella Mae Wiggins (Love). Randy married the love of his life over 20 years ago December 19, 2004. He loved to sing and cook, Most importantly he loved his family. 

 Randy and his wife were members of Cordova Baptist Church, where they enjoyed listening to the word.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradford and Ella Mae Wiggins; his two sons and several beloved aunts and uncles.

 He is survived by his wife Daralee Jo Wiggins (Morris); his sons, Jason Updike and wife Farrah Updike and Cory Updike and wife Mechelle Updike; his daughter, Shaina Updike and partner Tito. Randy leaves his grandchildren, Hailey and Nicholas Updike, Josiah Updike, McKenzie Updike, Matty Olivia and Scarlett Ferrell; his brother, Bradford Wiggins and wife, Cindy; his loving nephew Trey Wiggins and wife Casey.  He comes from a family full of loving cousins and friends whom will always remember his memory. 

 Although Randy is in his eternal home, and we are saddened here on earth. He is now living a life in the skies above with no pain and suffering. 

 In this time of sadness and while we all look for strength please remember PSALM 34:18, “The Lord is close to the broke hearted and saves those whom are crushed in spirit”.
