William "Bill" Bullard

William Stewart “Bill” Bullard, 83, of Parkton, NC died 8/1/2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. A native of Parkton, he was born 12/27/1927 to the late Daniel Calvin and Clyde Budd Bullard. He retired after 37 years as a heavy equipment operator for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Bullard, Daniel C. Bullard, Jr. and Vander Bullard; sisters Mary Catherine Tierney and Sarah Holden; and nephew, Daniel Thomas “Tom” Moss. He is survived by his niece, Susan Phillips Moss; great nephew, Daniel Thomas Moss, II; great niece, Stephanie Moss Bridges; and special friends, Elizabeth Jackson, Albert Carroll, Betty and Jimmy Ivey, and Johnny Webb. Visitation will be at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, Wednesday 8/3/2011 from 6:30-8:00 PM with funeral services scheduled for Thursday 8/4/2011 at 11:00 AM at Parkton Baptist
Church, with the Reverend Raymond Wade officiating. Interment will follow at the Budd
Cemetery. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the staff at the Golden Living Center. Memorials may be made to Parkton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 247, Parkton, NC 28371 or the charity of one’s choice.
